He has been having to spend more time looking after his wife than before.

Hope he's OK and Ann(e?) is still with us.
For a rougharse, he's very compassionate and loving. Not to us of course, but I wouldn't expect the auld twat to be any of that namby pamby stuff.

Just got off the phone to him. Overall he sounded OKish. It seems to me like he may have a big decision coming up, whether to change his socks or not!
