Here's the other pic I took that night. I was holding a huge torch between my knees (ooer) whilst trying to take a photo of the wee bastard in the pitch dark. Incidentally, I was out shooting rats when I nearly stepped on the bugger - I almost fucking shat myself...again.

If you wrap 'em in mud then roast them on a camp fire, the prickles come off when you peel the dried mud away. (allegedly.)
I think about 20 minutes per pound at gas mark 5 should be ok.
