Why not?
We'd have loved to have had it.
What my 2 metre tall little boy would look like on it, fuck nose!

Re: Cheesey, shall I tell them?
Neither and none.
A little while ago a bloke on the watch forum I go on offered a free bike!! I said yes please and I was the first to get in there! Trouble was the Bike was in Hertfordshire and I am in Somerset.
So,who do I know in Stevenage? Oh Yus, Monsewer Fromage!, so emails and texts fly between us and Mr Cheddar agrees to pick the bike up for me and stash it until I can get it collected from there and down to here.
Mr Gorgonzola picks it up for me and stashes it in his garage, I am looking at different weays to get the bike to here, it isnt rideable, infact it is siezed due to standing, it has been sitting in a garage for at least 15 years, a dry garage though.
Whilst I am ruminating, Mandy (the missus) lets slip that one of her cousins has started up a business, a man with a van type business, superb.
I get in touch with him (Lets call him Mark as that is his name) and we agree a price for him to collect and deliver the bike.
Last Friday, it arrives, in much better condition than I thought it would be in
Mr Red Leicester had siad he would pour some diesel down the plug hole to get the freeing off started, so I eased down on the kickstart not expecting much, but, bugger me, after a little bit of effort, it turns oveer nicely, makes sucking and blowing noises and nothing horrible.
Result.
Oh yes, what bike is it? I hear you ask, tell you tomorrow.

Not a bad lad that cheeseybellendforeskinguy on reflection then.
Pity you're so far away, I have something that could help with the lubrication system............In fact, if Mark had got a proper size car, he could have given you one!
What is it? you may find out tomorrow!!!

Re: Cheesey, shall I tell them?
No, it didn't start, in fact I dont even have the keys for it, I do have the V5 though.
What I forgot to mention was, that Mr Brie said he would ease the turning over process by pouring some deesel down the plug hole, he didnt have time to get round to it! So even better.
My little boy has claimed the bike and wants it as his own, bless him.

Re: Cheesey, shall I tell them?
Right, bear with I have uploaded the piccies...time for tea and biccies!!
I will tell you that this is a iconic bike, once lusted after by the great unwashed, still sought after these days as well.
Spares will be 'interesting' to find, saying that I have found a stash of nos in Malaysia of all places, postage is a killer though.
well next post will be the clickable thumbnails.

Re: Cheesey, shall I tell them?
Is that strap holding the air cleaner on standard?
Is it a CG 125/250 or something similar? Don't recognise the model at all (other than it's a honda of course.)

Re: Cheesey, shall I tell them?
So what sort of work do you reckon it will take to get it running and roadworthy? It looks fairly reasonable, and I'm sure it won't be a complete dog, or you wouldn't have set it on............

Re: Cheesey, shall I tell them?
That last one's a bit of a bugger, but I'm sure you have the technology to sort it out.
You DO still have the welder?
