growing season

hi yall. i never really checked this section out. how long is the growing season there. can yall grow peppers. i do a little tinkering with plants also. i'm gonna be reading more of this. i'm sure the varmits and grips is different over there than here. neat.

We grew some this year.

Little fuckers were like trying to eat a fag butt dog end.

Yep. We can grow peppers. Greenhouse growing though as it can get chilly even in summer, plus peppers don't like cold rain much.
Season can be from February (in a heated greenhouse to as late as October, or May to September outside.
Best way to extend the season is to start seeds in the GH and then plant seedlings outside when there's no chance of frost.

Fruit trees in my garden usually blossom between March/April and I've got lots of apples & pears to eat now. Lots of apples still on the tree/ground, all the pears now picked. All the soft fruit gone and the last carrots have been eaten this week.

Cheesey means a cigarette end BTW. What do you call the bit that gets thrown away when the smoker has burnt his fingers on the last bit?
