Hmm, I had SM's on my G2CSR,G80S, numerous RD250,400 air cooled, Honda 500/4 and numerous others, rode like a twat as well, no worries.
Tyres I didnt like,early Jap's, Michelin's (back along,ok now) and so on.

Well, I never got on with them. They were probably not daft enough for us Northerners! 
I suppose it's what suits at the end of it all, I preferred Dunlops and they suited my looney style, at the time Avons didn't. If we all liked the same stuff, it'd be a boring old world.
