I have a HDD Video Camera and want to mount it to the bike. Anyone got any good ideas?

I suppose some experimentation with resilient mountings will be needed Bill, or perhaps surround the camera with foam inside a box mounted on the bike to keep it steady but isolated from the vibes of the bike.

Will give it some more thought and will post if I think of anything else

Mount it facing forwards and not at your dish!! If it's on the handlebars it will be looking up your nose!!

Careful that it doesn't get wet, so it needs a clear cover.

The tripod mount is the standard 1/4" unf so that aint a problem.

Oooh, does anyone know what thread the mini cotton reel exhaust mount threads are?

Bollocks I cant stop this!

If it's a cotton reel it will be made from a certain type of material, so I wood expect you to build one in Septimber.
Thread? Entafekkincluemate.
Hope this helps,

Dead easy Bill.

Get a decently strong handlebar mount with an adapter to quickly fit/remove the camera. I've got a fairly strong handlebar camera mount somewhere that I used for the wee Bantam for one of those Oregon type shitey cameras - total pish the camera was, not the mount. Apart from taking days to get it focused, it was still shite and a pain in the arse to view the footage.

Camcorders are the dog's bollocks. They can auto adjust when riding at speed. Plus you can always see what's happening ahead and record everything that's happened. But make sure you have plenty of battery packs to replace the flat bastards! They do run down fairly quickly.

Once you've fitted the cam to the handlebars, waterproof it by covering the front of it in cling film, especially the lens but make sure the film is pulled fairly tight and smooth to aid focusing and avoid blurring. Then totally waterproof it by sticking it in a see-through plastic bag, again avoiding crinkles to avoid blurring.

Fuck, I sound like a sober fucking geek! What the fuck happened? Too bloody sober that's the problem!

More swallow required immediately! glug,glug,glug,glug.......a quick breath....glug,glug,glug,glug...and a wee wan for the fucking road glug.

Ah, thatsh berrer, ah canny fuckin see now, heh, heh.....thatll dae fur me.

Ah belang tae glesga, dear auld glesga toon........hic..hic.....snore.....................................fuck! I fuckin flaked oot there!....glug,glug.glug.

Right, where was I? Oh yes, I was attempting to give some camera advice to Bill when I suddenly realized that I was being very sensible and that got on my wee fat tits. I hate my wee fat tits, and my wee fat stumpy legs, oh, and my fuckin fat kite of a belly.

There I fuckin go again, haver, haver, fuckin haver! Am I mad or just off my fuckin head? Answers on the back of a postage stamp please you cunts! "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

See what I did there you cunts? Laughing

Merry christmas.....Oops, wrong date....FUCK!

I much preferred it when I was out my skull and didn't give a fuck what any cunt thought!

I still don't actually, I was just testing. Laughing

Ignore what I've just said, I'm a fucking havering Scottish twat that's pished as a fucking fart.

Sorry.... Cunts! Laughing
