Just as things start growing

Post by Alan H on Sun Apr 01, 2012 2:47 pm

It gets too hot in the GH and roasts me seedlings, then it's forecast for SNOW this week.
Oh, me onions, lettuces and caulis, they'll be as cold as fuck.
So will the tomatoes, Cape goosegogs, real goosegogs & blueberries. We shall see what this week brings.
All the apple/pear and plum blossoms will be bolloxed if it freezes. Bugger!!!

I hate eating most vegetables, foul tasting shite. And they take up so much ground and time to grow the buggers for very little gain (to me).

I'd rather fill my garden with pretty flowers and shrubs because looking at them relaxes me and I feel the stress of everyday life ebbing away, that's why I grow flowers and shrubs instead of veg - besides, I'm a lazy bastard! Razz

Really?

Hmm, I'll have to look into that Cheesy.

If true, I might send you a piece of my nasturtium pie... santa

Me and my lad mostly ripped the fucking things out of peoples gardens cos they spread so fast and we just dumped them - fuck, wish I'd known, we could've fed our wee greedy ankle biters the fucking stuff instead of buying food! Laughing

I've got some, so keep sneezing and I'll have the whisky for you.
I'll do it as a favour so you don't get a hangover - I'll have it instead.

See how nice I am?
