Last Sunday
Just got around to uploading some phone pics from last Sunday.
The weather was sunny and cold so after taking the Lightweight for some fuel and getting back home without breaking down we got the bikes out and went to the local bike cafe for a late breakfast ...
Had a bacon roll and a coffee and then a chat to some of the others who'd turned up. An old guy turned up a nice old Norton
There were a few nice Jap bikes there including this 1968 Suzuki 500
And this gorgeous Kwacker triple. Had a long chat to the guy - he owns a few of them and had gone over to a swap meet in the US with his mate to look for parts and come back with this bike. Totally original, including the tyres, and only 3,000 miles on it from new. All he'd done is clean a load of dirt and dust off it - not touched the paint or chrome. It had a lovely patina and sounded like new.
Aside from the plastic crotch rockets (not my thing) there were a few Harleys etc about;
And a nice Iron Horse custom;
It seemed too nice a day to just go home so we went for a ride and ended up by the river in Henley for a coffee

I would rather have a proper Bonnie, mind you I would also rather have a proper Enfield.
