Cheers mate.

I started a new job. Went too a birthday meal with my litttle boy. He quipped that he has never known me work at the weekend before, my wife retorted that she's never known me to work!

And that's about the size of it. Very busy. They think I'm an expert in stuff, but it takes me ages as I have to read the manual first! But I need to make an impression so the contract gets extended.

I tried for a permie job whist working here on this contract.

I only have 22 yrs direct experience and another 12 related experience. Apparently I wasn't experienced enough.


I think I failed to persuade them that as a permie I would remain with them and not move on within the year.
