Re: Latest update
Bin too feckin cold and manky to do much. Chopped all the pond plants back and came in frozen!
Bollocks to it until it gets a bit warmer.
On a happier note, the Goldfinches and Blue Tits are back. They pissed off just after Christmas as it was too cold for them. Plenty of seed of different types out all the time mind.

Re: Latest update
I've stopped feeding the birds for a bit.
I seemed to be encouraging the wrong ones.

Re: Latest update
There's a few blue tits about, hardly surprising with the temperatures we're having.

You've gotta clear that pond now Al, as soon as our rainy season starts the frogs and toads wil be on the march spawning, then it'll be too late.

The Koi and Shubunkins love 'em. Yum Yum!
I usually net some out and stick them in a (water filled) dustbin where some can grow. Pointless putting them in the bottom pond (an old bath really) cos there are several newts in it and they eat frog taddies!

I can't believe I wasn't able to view this from work.
