I remember the winter of '63. We were still living in a caravan (trailer) and were properly snowed in.
I still have a vivid memory of helicopters dropping off food to us and bales of hay for the animals.

Even though I was only 3 in 63, I can remember eating porridge made by my Nan, me and my bro who is 4 years older than me had chicken pox as well.....................Happy days
