I got a job yesterday, after eight and a half months, money is shit (10k below my old salary) but it's a job and one has to be grateful in this wonderful country I suppose.

I know exactly how you feel, I did the same regarding money/wages.
Even shit money is better than dole money though, and I must say that the job I now have is relatively stress free compared to the old one.
