It's started!

The 550 jobby I mean.
Got lots of bits - still need more though. Wish I could find a 4ls front wheel for sensible money. They all seem daft prices so far - other than the one I missed last year of course!
So I've started to strip it down. Unfortunately, I've also got lots of other stuff to do, so it's gonna take a long time! Hopefully all done by next year though.
The points cover seems like a bit of a sticking point, I might have a go at spinning one on the lathe. Must measure up first and see if the lathe has enough diameter - failing that I might be selling it (the lathe) and getting one a bit bigger.
