Re: Nice little number
Commandos are smashing bikes (except for the 'combat' version), my fave being the 850 MkIII Interstate in black with gold pinstriping.

Step away from the Ural, not good for you. I want one mind. Is that one cheap?
That 750 Commando has weird bars, broken seat base and odd pinstriping/name on the tank.

Embellish you say??
Unreliable to the max, some have 2 wheel drive and when it is engaged can only go forwards, some have reverse which is great fun when you take the sidecar off.
Standard carbs are too small for the average lawnmower, standard alternator loves exploding into tiny pieces with no warning, standard tyres last forever but grip nothing at all.

No, not cheap at all. Wouldn't even consider buying it. But they do have a certain 'coolness' about them.

Re: Nice little number
'URAL' sounds crap but they have a certain something. Not much however, whatever it is.

Yes, they can be, but they are not as tough as they should be and not as cheap as they were.
