Oooo. That smarts.
I did say 'bugger' which did't help really, thinking about it.
Fortunately, it didn't really hurt, as the bit that sends the 'THAT HURTS' signal was on the floor when the rest of me hand wasn't, so couldn't send its message.
Thank fuck.
Ah well, we don't get any smarter as we gat older - I'm proof with tricks like this.

No. Dropped a (large) girder on it at work.
Fair brought tears to me eyes, it did.

It still smarts, but more of a dull throb now.
I understand the NHS thinks that's 'all right' (ish).

Are you at danger of death? no? Well a lot of people are, those who stood right under that girder.

It was on the floor so it would have taken a limbo dancer to get under it!

That was the original plan.
Unfortunately there isn't enough money in prostitution as I didn't like the idea of getting shagged anyway.

Re: Oooo. That smarts.
The finger is all healed up with a new nail now, and just aches in the cold weather, but I'm having an Avon PatelloFemoral replacement in a fortnight, so more gory pics may appear!

Re: Oooo. That smarts.
This is/was the entrance hatch for my Avon Patellofemoral Replacement op that I had yesterday.
Up and about today, but it may be a week or several before I go jogging.
Surprising what can be done with a sewing machine nowadays innit?

Re: Oooo. That smarts.
Physio and see the specialist yesterday. Progress is being made, but obviously not fast enough for my liking.
Basically, I'm more or less banned from the garage for another couple of weeks-ish until I get more movement into the knee joint, so there's lots to do, plenty of time to do it, but I can't get in there!
Bugger.
Anyway, the bandage is now off so I can get some fresh air to it now. Hopefully the neighbours won't mind......
Still chuffin' painful though.

Re: Oooo. That smarts.
It's a bit better now, but still hurty. Not been on the bike for the last 6 weeks as I can't hold too much weight on that leg and if it goes over with me on the bike, it could completely fuck it up.
Hopefully soon though.

Re: Oooo. That smarts.
Nearly 12 months on and the knee still has 'moments' when it aches, but I've got up to 60 lengths swimming in the pool now, and just been scuba diving in barbados, so it's as good as it will ever be I suppose.
The finger doesn't like the cold as the circulation is bad. Maybe the blood circuits aren't joined up very well.
Roll on summer.

You'll always have circulation problems with an injury you just notice it more on your extremities.

Re: Oooo. That smarts.
It was even more horrible about a second after I did it and I realised what I'd done!
Hopefully no other bits to repair in the future, so I'll just keep the knee working and the finger wrapped up!
Hope you're back in the Hoose OK now and Anne is at least still 'OK' as best as possible mate.
