Another hobby
Archery, I bloody love it. Nothing fancy, just a cheap bow or two and plenty of decent arrows to 'kill' all those large round bales of straw in the fields.
By "decent arrows", I mean wooden ones with real feathers for fletches not those horrible carbon fibre ones with plastic/nylon type fletches.
I've about a hundred or so wooden arrows that I've made/assembled myself from separate parts that can be bought from specialist suppliers - and they are a delight to loose!
I've no pics but I'll get some soon and post them up.

Re: Another hobby
Strange you should say that Mr Cheese!
A while back , I was out in the garden 'playing' with my bow 'n arrows when a mate popped in and seeing the bow asked if he could have a go as he'd never tried it before.
He duly fired off half a dozen or so into the nearby stubble field and when I went to collect them I could only find five - bugger, oh well, I said to him, I'll search for it later.
Well, a couple of days later I remembered about the bloody thing and as it was dry and sunny I decided to search for the bastard - after an hour and half I found the fucker, but you'll never guess what was on the pointy end of it!?
? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope, ? Nope.
A fucking MOOSE!
Well a mouse actually (I'm Scottish fur fucks sake!)
